Behind the Name
“Escaping Monotony” encompasses many of my values, beliefs, and goals. I have held the strong belief for as long as I can remember that life has to be about more than tirelessly working a 40-hour work week for 50+ years. We as humans are meant to be creative and expressive and experience the world for all of its nature and cultures. I am fueled by the goal to escape that monotonous life and follow my passions wholeheartedly, without settling for a system that doesn’t sit right with my ability to embody my most happy self. Escaping Monotony expands over three main ideologies: my slogan that reads freedom, passion, and thrive. Escaping monotony and freedom of course go hand in hand, and for me it means in terms of time and location. By having these luxuries I am able to pursue my passions of travel and photography full time, and this lifestyle in turn allows me to thrive both mentally and financially like I never have before, and never would be able to at a regular job. Now that I’ve had a taste of escaping that monotonous life, I can honestly say I will never go back!
